On board of the luxury motoryacht Marie José you will see an unspoiled original Dutch river landscape passing by.

But of course we take care of delicious bits and bytes during the trip, take you for a walk in Leerdam, a town known for its famous glass artists, and finalise that walk with an excellent lunch at "Thee Leutje", on a romantic location on the defensive wall of Leerdam, or "het Oude Posthuijs"
We also offer the possibility to organise on a special location a chamber concert or a recitation by a poet or writer, or to finalise the boattrip with an exquisite 'captain'sdinner' in the restaurant, beautifully located on the borders of the river Linge, the Smiling Goose ("de Lachende Gans") in Tricht.
Program boatrip on the river Linge:
9:30 arrival in the town Geldermalsen: with a mini-van we make a short tour through the Linge- area to the place of embarkment Arkel
10:00 introduction to the staff, with coffee, tea and sweets. Palaver about safety on the boat
10:45 departure from the harbour of Arkel
12:00 arrival in de harbour of Leerdam: guided walk through this historical town with its countless glass and other ateliers end workplaces of artists. Then we will enjoy lunch in a distinctive restaurant
14:30 we will depart from the harbour in Leerdam for an trip trhough a magnificent trip through the beautiful nature of the river Linge, amongst other the estate Marienwaerdt in the village of Beesd. This part of the river has been unchanged for centuries and sailing troough this area is an impressive event that gives possibilities to make fantastic photo's and videos, but most of all will give you memories of this special trip on this special day.
17:00 arrival in the harbour of Geldermalsen. We give to you a gift as a remembrance to the trip.
If applied for you can enjoy a dinner, a chamber concert or a recitation by a writer or poet.
A mini-van will bring you to the location where we started in the morning.
We can advise a dinner in restaurant bistro De Lachende Gans, located on a nice position on the borders of the river Linge, with an ultimate view on the river. This special restaurant offers a perfect opportunity to berth the yacht and offers a beautiful terrace.
