That day we left from the village Geldermalsen, where the river Linge is narrow and undeep, to the village of Leerdam. In Leerdam we discovered several glass ateliers, the glass centre (where one can see how glass is produced manually), terraces and "Thee Leutje".
We landed in the neighbourhood Rietveld near the village Arkel, where Ms Westerbeek and her daughter exploit a century- old passenger ferry.
